Students’ Voices: Poster Session as an Alternative Way of Teaching Writing

This study aimed to investigate the students' participation and student's perceptions of use poster sessions in essay writing classes. A qualitative method was applied this study. The respondents were third-semester English Education Study Program students who took an class. Sixty-third-semester from two classes selected randomly participate participants consisted 30 students. reason for choosing that they have studied Paragraph Writing previous semester. In other words, basic skills. Data collected using classroom observation notes semi-structured interviews. indicated comfortable, confident, continuously engaged learning writing. result further revealed all showed positive sessions. They felt enjoyed satisfied by thought a new way learn their interest learning. not only improved skills but also oral It recommended researchers examine ability identify aspects foster students` success session.
